For one month each spring Tulip Tops gardens come alive with a huge array of tulips, crocus, cherry blossom, forsythia and many other spring flowers.
The gardens are in a hidden valley so the walk from the car park to the main entrance gives visitors no idea of the wonderful surprise that awaits them.
The easy-walk gravel paths are edged with broad beds that are creatively planted with a range of spring flowers, particularly tulips. All are in a superb condition and labelled for those of us who would like to find some for our own garden.
Tulip Top Gardens have many spring blossom trees and under many of these are large beds full of more wonderful spring flowers. This really is tulip heaven!
There is so much to take in that it is worth stopping for refreshments in the large cafe tent and at weekends visitors can sit on the grass or at the table and chair to listen the live bands.
These are truly wonderful gardens - Australia's very own little Keukenhorf.
Don't miss them.
