Overlooked by an impressive Elizabethan Tudor mansion, which dates from 1598, there are nine gardens in all, each one planted as a distinctive ‘garden room’. This tradition began in 1892 by the current owner’s great grandfather, and ensures an abundance of colour and interest throughout the seasons.
