Dead Passionfruit

By:Simon Hall

My passionfruit vine was growing vigorously and had set a good crop of young fruit. I returned from holiday a couple of weeks ago to find it a bit wilted. I gave it a few good waters but it didn't come back. Slowly all the fruit began to wrinkle and the leaves turned yellow. Within two weeks it was pretty much gone. I tried a a pesticide and fungicide but may have been too late. I've cut it back to the woody trunk now hoping it will re-shoot. Any ideas what attacked it? Photos attached.
