Orange Tree Die-Back

I have two Orange Trees that I planted 1 year ago. They have died off at the tips of the branches, and all the leaves fell off.
The centre of the trees are full of blossoms, and new leaves are forming in the centre of the trees.
Can you suggest what could be wrong?
